We are excited to have Yoke Yuk, also known as YY, Project Coordinator to share with us about her passion and thoughts about world travel.
Hello! My name is YY, Project Coordinator.
I am passionate about travelling around the world! Being able to soak in the beautiful scenery is one of the greatest joy in life. My love for traveling have brought me to various countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Qns: Which is your favourite destination among those that you have shared with us and why?
YY: Taiwan. Because Taiwan is a Chinese oriented country, visiting Taiwan makes me feels at home. The people are friendly and food are tasty. Their food and culture are quite similar to ours thus this makes Taiwan my favourite destination.
Qns: On top of the beautiful sights and scenery, what else do you look forward to when you are visiting other countries?
YY: Definitely the food! Every country has its own unique cuisine and it is exciting to try out exotic dishes that you can only find in that particular country. Like many people said, the food of the country defines its culture and history. By trying out the cuisine of that country, it makes you feel like you are part of the culture too!

Qns: Please share with us a memorable moment that happened during the travels that left an impression on you.
YY: We went snorkeling even though the 4 of us (All Ladies!), we don't even know how to swim! We all had to grab onto 1 single swimming ring while snorkeling! HAHA!
Qns: Do you prefer to travel alone or with someone else and why?
YY: With someone else. So that the happiest moment will be shared with the companion! Travelling alone can be lonely at times, especially when you are seeing something amazing but no one else is there to share the moment with you.

Qns: Please share with us the hi-light of your recent trip to Langkawi and Koh Lipe Beach.
YY: The mesmerizing and beautiful sunrise and sunset view of the island! We had to wake up early in the morning, but luckily, our resort is just right by the beach. Which allow us to experience the best view of the sunrise ever!

Qns: Which destinations are on your bucket list?
YY: Japan, Korea and Europe!
Qns: And Lastly...What is your top travel tip and general thoughts about travelling the world?
YY: Travel with like-minded companion is a must! And always travel with an open mind, accepting the country culture and way of life is part of the travel experience. You have to always try the local food, that is the top priority to-do when you travel!
