Job Description

Are you sensitive to numbers and calculations? Are you by nature, meticulous, dependable and discrete? Are you comfortable working with numbers and MS Excel and dedicated software platforms such as Microsoft NAV? We are looking for a qualified Payroll and Compensation Administrator to join our HR team. The Payroll and Compensation Administrator will be responsible for running payroll, verifying commission claims and calculation of commission based on the schemes provided; locally and regionally. The Payroll and Compensation Administrator will be reporting to the HR Lead and will be expected to work on other compensation and incentives matters from time to time.


  • Work closely with our HR team on workers’ OT calculations and verification of expenses claims

  • Work closely with our HR team and prepare for monthly payroll processing

  • Prepare payroll related reports and statements for approval

  • Responsible for all applicable accounting journals not limited to: monthly payroll, banking, bank reconciliation

  • Annual Income Tax reporting for all teammates

  • Answer teammate’s enquiries relating to their payroll

  • Preparation of payroll or related reports such as earnings, deductions, benefits, annual leaves, etc.

  • Safeguard private and confidential payroll information

  • Commission claims verification and calculation

  • Preparation of monthly commission claims report

  • Work closely with the HR Lead on periodic incentives calculation and disbursement

  • Other ad-hoc finance or HR duties as assigned

  • Be sensitive and well-versed with government incentives and grants affecting payroll matters

The Pre-Requisites 

  • Diploma/Degree in an accounting discipline

  • Minimally 3 years of relevant working experience in a Finance/Payroll role

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Excel

  • Clear understanding of CPF and Income Tax calculations and related

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft NAV system would be an added bonus

  • Meticulous and systematic

  • Ability to work independently

  • Good team player with a positive attitude
